Quality Technician - Hanover Park, IL
Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician documents quality levels by performing a variety of audits to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. The Quality Technician works with Operations to perform root cause analysis and work on problems of a diverse scope.
You will:
· Work first shift (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime throughout the week and/or on weekends/holidays as needed
· Perform water tests and document the results by following written instructions
· Report findings back to Manufacturing Engineer and Lean Manager
· Stand for entire shift of 8 hours, work overtime and weekends (if needed) to meet business demands
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
· Must be able to work independently and also with team
· Must be able to identify unsafe conditions and report them to department team leader, supervisor, manager or EHS Coordinator
· Must be able to deal with complexity in a fast pace manufacturing environment
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

· Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands
· Someone who is detail oriented and capable of documenting test results
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1-2 years experience operating production machinery, performing quality inspections or working in a manufacturing environment
