We are seeking an on-site Transportation Dispatch Associate in Itasca, IL. In this role. you will coordinate domestic and international shipping operations, track shipment performance, and ensure full regulatory compliance. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a talented team and immerse yourself in our collaborative company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Tracking: Monitor, track, and trace all inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments; immediately escalate transit exceptions to vendors or gateways.
Vendor & Driver Performance: Evaluate driver and vendor on-time performance; escalate service failures internally for resolution.
Compliance & Documentation: Manage all related TSA/IAC compliance documents and vendor accountability paperwork.
Fleet & Safety: Oversee fleet compliance and documentation. Lead investigations into any workplace accidents, collecting necessary documentation, photos, and video footage.
Cross-Department Support: Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and Accounts Payable to assist with invoice approvals, PODs, and general logistics inquiries.
Operational Guidance: Provide direction to internal departments on the correct preparation, documentation, and packaging of shipments.

Job Requirements
Job Knowledge & Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in logistics or transportation.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience with domestic shipping, export procedures, and TSA compliance.
Tech Skills: Proficiency in data entry, Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, and frequent push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 49 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodation).
