Barton Professional Placement Group is recruiting for our client, a Global leader in Electronic component solutions related to LCD, LED and OLED electronic components.

The Business Development specialist will be responsible for researching, engaging and qualifying new business that will achieve targeted financial growth.

They will play a key role in developing new programs with existing customers and also drive new business opportunities with new clients.

They will spend approximately 50% of their time traveling domestically and internationally to client locations to meet, listen, learn and analyze information in order to provide solutions.  

This position can be based out of any city with excellent access to a major airport since travel will be required approximately 50% of the time.

When not traveling to client meetings, the Sales Specialist can work remotely.

Training for this role will take place in Suburban Chicago area.

Essential Functions will include:

Project Management, Execution and delivery of product segments to meet revenue targets.

Conduct market and end-user research and drive the strategic direction of their findings to develop pricing and positioning and to identify trends and opportunities.

They will use the 80/20 to obtain maximum profitability.

They will use their project management skills to lead teams, internal and customer, through the process.

They will have the ability to develop customer-specific solutions

Be a partner with their customer when it comes to innovation, cost reduction and product evolution.

Compensation will include base salary plus potential to earn 10% bonus based on closed and delivered sales.

Engineering Degree or strong Electronic Engineering knowledge
