Job Description

Our Client, a leading contract manufacture of superior medical devices is seeking an experienced  2nd Shift Production Supervisor for their facilities located in St. Charles, IL and West Chicago, IL. 

This is a Direct Hire position responsible for providing overall supervision to the hourly workforce and will work in collaboration with a variety of other departments including quality, supply chain, other production departments, production leadership and human resources.

Essential Functions:
  • Plan and organize resources to ensure organizational and customer goals are met.
  • Scheduling jobs/work orders to meet customer demands while also maximizing departmental efficiency.
  • Provide direction and supervision to the hourly workforce to ensure goals are met with regard to safety, quality, and production; including but not limited to coaching and feedback, conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as appropriate.
  • Complete a variety of reports and other reports with regard to safety, production, ISO, employee performance, and etc.
  • Maintain appropriate communication and documentation of changes and updates to production process and document SOPs, in collaboration with the Quality Department.
  • Conduct timely communication meetings, safety training, and other meetings as required to ensure high levels of communication are maintained.

Compensation range: $65,000 to $75,000/yr.
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:00PM with rotating Saturdays required.

Job Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Minimum 5 years operations management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills with exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to take initiative, with a demonstrated passion and commitment for getting the job done right the first time.
  • Computer skills are required, Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Effective problem solving skills with an eye towards proactive solutions.
