Job Description
Plastic Injection Mold Maintenance Tech 2nd Shift - DIRECT HIRE.
Do you have solid experience with Injection Molding Maintenance?
Is Addison, IL a reasonable and sustainable commute for you, no matter what the weather conditions and cost of gas?
Do you have the ability to troubleshoot and repair molding machines and related secondary equipment in an SQF environment?
Our client, a stable and growing injection molding company, is adding someone with great work ethic and ability to be a leader to their maintenance team.

In this DIRECT HIRE role, you will be responsible for all aspects of thermoplastic injection molding machines.
You will monitor machines during operation, monitoring production levels and efficiency.
You will also completed required daily documentation.
Plastic Injection Molding Technician/Foreman/Assistant Foreman Job Description:
- Read, write and communicate with all levels of the organization to relay problems with machines, materials, product quality or any safety concerns.
- Maintain performance and operation of the molding machines, peripheral equipment (including vision systems according to the individual plant’s current protocol) and secondary equipment.
- Monitor cycle times, production rate and personnel assigned to each work area.
- Properly inspect raw materials and levels of production and maintain inventories using FIFO system
- Inspect product quality using Go/No Go sizing gauges and quarantine defective product
- Follow, understand and enforce all company policies, safely work in a physically demanding environment following HACCP and SQF procedures.
- Operate forklift/pallet jack set/pull molds when required.
- Ability to 2nd shift hours as well as work overtime as required/requested.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Job Requirements
- For success in this role, you must have experience with thermoplastic injection machinery, as well as all tools associated with thermoplastic injection molding machines and mold set ups.
- Some experience in using measuring equipment and blueprint reading is essential.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Intermediate Math up to the basic algebra is also required.
