Position Summary: Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials between buildings, while supporting receiving, dock operations, and production needs. This role requires a high level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, along with the flexibility to assist in multiple areas of the operation as needed.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Safely operate transfer truck to transport materials between buildings as required
Complete scheduled and unscheduled pick-ups and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain accurate mileage and fuel logs, ensuring proper documentation of all vehicle usage
Perform general housekeeping of the transfer truck to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safe operating condition
Operate forklift equipment (including scale-equipped units) in a safe and efficient manner
Handle materials manually as required, with weights typically ranging from 5–50 lbs.
Verify stock accuracy and ensure proper staging of materials in Mdock
Maintain organized and accurate paperwork
Complete all documentation legibly and in accordance with company standards
Assist with Material Handling processes
Support production floor operations when available to ensure overall workflow efficiency
Assist with end-of-day responsibilities, including scrap removal, garbage disposal, and general area clean-up
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dock areas and workstations
Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication across departments to support daily operations
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines, including proper equipment operation and dock awareness
Use time and attendance systems as required
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Overtime will be required as needed

Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Valid CDL Class B driver’s license required with a clean driving record
Minimum of 3 years of electric forklift experience
Ability to safely lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
Proficiency in basic computer functions and use of RF scanners
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time independently
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing operational needs
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience
Ability to read and write in English, follow directions, and perform basic math calculations
Proven reliability, accountability, and consistent attendance
