Our client, a high-volume precision machining manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CNC SwissSetup/Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of machining, from programming and setup to operation and quality control. Pay Range: $17-$37/hr. Depending on Experience
1st shift schedule 5am-3pm (training will be for 8 hours for 1 month, then you will transition to the 10-hour shift)
Responsibilities include:
Setup & Operation: Program, set up, and operate CNC Swiss equipment to produce high-quality precision parts.
Programming & Optimization: Write new programs and modify existing ones to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure optimal feeds and speeds.
Quality Assurance: Perform first-piece inspections and monitor production runs using precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and CMMs to ensure strict adherence to specifications.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose machine issues, perform basic repairs, and conduct regular maintenance (checking fluids, sharpening tools) to minimize downtime.
Tooling Management: Select, install, and standardize tooling; design fixtures as needed to support complex machining operations.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety protocols and work orders.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant factory experience in CNC Swiss machining.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Shop Math, blueprint reading, and the use of CAD software and precision measuring instruments.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to work frequently with hands, focus on small details (vision at 20 inches or less), and stand/move throughout the shift.
Must be able to lift 10–25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Environment includes exposure to manufacturing noise, moving mechanical parts, and oils/solvents (PPE required).
