Well established company is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup/Operator. Most of the machines are Mazak running Mazatrol programs. This role is focused on setting up and operating repeat jobs using existing programs - no programming required.
Responsibilities
Set up Mazak CNC lathes and mill/turns using existing Mazatrol programs.
Load tooling, set offsets, and verify setups before running jobs.
Once approved for production, produce all parts to print and quality standards.
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
3+ years of CNC lathe setup experience.
Strong knowledge of Mazak controls and Mazatrol programs.
Ability to read blueprints and work to standard tolerances.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
High school diploma or GED required.
Extra Credit (not required)
Knowledge of G-code
Experience with manual lathes
Prior use of ProShop ERP software
