Easy to get to location in Naperville, IL.
2nd Shift hours 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Pay-$16.50/hr.
Responsible for cutting cables according to specifications and project requirements in a safe and accurate manner. You will work closely with the production team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of cable cutting tasks.
Collaborating with the lead to prioritize and schedule cable cutting tasks.
Reading and interpreting MO’s (Manufacturing Order) and technical specifications to understand cable cutting requirements.
Operate cable cutting equipment and tools to cut fiber optic cables to the required lengths.
Inspect cable quality and ensure they meet the required standards.
Maintain inventory control by accurately tracking and reporting the quantity and scrap of cable cuts.
Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Perform routine maintenance of cleaning of cable cutting equipment and a well-maintained work area free of trash debris, plastic, cardboard, etc.
Following quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of cable cuts.
Performs additional tasks as required or assigned.
Must be able to read and write English.
Must be able to operate Sit-down Forklift
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to meet specifications.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
