Machine Operator – Job Description
Follow all safety rules and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Set up, change over, adjust, repair, and operate all machinery and equipment as needed.
Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition for on-time startup.
Make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent product flow.
Perform process control and quality checks.
Operate date coders and verify accuracy of code dates on packaging.
Clean equipment according to sanitation procedures.
Support Quality Assurance by collecting product samples and completing other assigned tasks.
Troubleshoot basic issues with processing equipment.
Accurately complete daily production reports and documentation.
Assist in training new team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
