Location: Broadview, IL Job Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift | Direct Hire Position
Pay Range: $17.00-28.00 (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a Conventional Stamp Operator for our manufacturing client located in Broadview. This DIRECT HIRE position is responsible for setting up and operating conventional stamping equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload parts on machinery and maintain equipment according to company standards.
Inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with blueprints and quality requirements.
Operate and adjust equipment to maintain proper work procedures.
Accurately report production data to the supervisor and enter information in Plex.
Follow work instructions to complete production assignments within the scheduled timeframe.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements using lean manufacturing concepts.
Assist with loading and unloading coils when the material handler is unavailable.

Job Requirements
Required:
Previous Stamping or Press Operation Experience-6 months minimum experience.
Ability to read and use measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
Understanding of necessary tools and instructions to ensure product quality.
Basic mathematical and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Forklift certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Must be able to stand, bend, and work for extended periods.
Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
Work Environment & Safety
Exposure to moving parts, sharp edges, hot surfaces, sparks, and noise.
Personal protective equipment required, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves when necessary.
