Job Description

Our client, a leading innovator in air filtration, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their growing team!

Excellent location in Aurora, IL. 
1st Shift Opportunity
Pay range: $30.25-$33.61/hr. 


The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing machinery repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring that machines are working safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines.
Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery.
Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine users.
Undertake other duties as assigned.
Keep logs of work and report on issues.

Job Requirements

  • Maintenance Mechanic ideally will have 5+years of related manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Excellent knowledge of machinery
  • Computer literate and able to use MS Word and Excel
  • Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) and precision measurement tools
  • Problem solving ability
  • Electrical background/experience 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
