• Create, document, and maintain process sheets and SOPs from scratch for all mold and machine combinations
• Drive improvements in cycle time, scrap reduction, and overall product quality
• Lead and support mold setups, startups, color changes, and troubleshooting
• Train and mentor technicians while evaluating training effectiveness
• Partner with Maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
• Collaborate with Quality to identify and resolve process-related issues
• Work with outside vendors to evaluate new molding technologies
• Maintain accurate production and inventory documentation (FIFO-based systems)
• Set molds using lift equipment and maintain molding-related tools and equipment

• Previous experience creating process sheets from scratch, updating process sheets, and creating and maintaining filing system required
• Strong background in injection molding (Nissei, Toshiba, Roboshot preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - ENGLISH (reading, writing, and comprehension) 
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift operator’s license.

• Frequent standing and walking for long periods.
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
• Use of hand tools and controls, as well as reaching above shoulder height.
• Regular use of personal protective equipment.
