Our client is looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the Maintenance Department in Waupun, Wisconsin. The position requires close collaboration with upper management and key stakeholders to ensure that all projects and activities stay on track and align with organizational goals This role will involve planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting projects related to mechanical, electrical, and process control systems. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for driving system improvements, overseeing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Job Highlights
Monday-Friday 1st shift Hours - but must be flexible to work weekends and on call as needed.
Pay Range: 80,000-110,000 per year - + Open to discuss for someone who can take care of both WI and IL facilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire a dynamic team of maintenance professionals. Develop training programs, conduct performance evaluations, and implement action plans to drive team growth and performance improvement.
- Project Management: Take charge of managing maintenance projects, from equipment installation to retrofitting and upgrades. Minimize costs while ensuring timely and successful completion of initiatives.
- Preventative Maintenance: Oversee and schedule regular preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. Maintain accurate machinery logs to track all maintenance activities.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Be the go-to expert for diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in manufacturing equipment, analyzing failures, and identifying root causes to improve reliability.
- Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and test equipment. Ensure the availability of necessary parts and supplies to avoid operational delays.
- Cost Control & Budget Management: Take ownership of production-related maintenance costs, aiming to reduce waste, minimize overtime, and manage maintenance within the established budget. Focus on cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
- Food Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities align with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. Execute regular maintenance checks to uphold the highest levels of quality assurance.
- CMMS Oversight: Manage and optimize our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for asset management, parts tracking, and preventative maintenance scheduling. Train staff on system usage and best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain clear, detailed documentation for all maintenance procedures. Report on project status, updates, and any issues to upper management.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, machinery performance, and overall team effectiveness. Design and propose upgrades to existing equipment and systems.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production teams, vendors, and subcontractors to coordinate installations, repairs, and modifications. Communicate effectively with upper management, keeping all parties informed of key updates and developments.
