Our client, a local division of a global manufacturing company is hiring 1st shift machine operators to join their team.
This is a union environment, so the current pay rate and future raises are GUARANTEED!
First Shift Hours for this position are 6am-2pm Monday-Friday.
Pay rate starts at 18.97/hour
Guaranteed to go up to 19.22/hr at 61 days and to 20.40/hr at 365 days!
You must have some previous manufacturing or warehouse experience for this position, but will be trained to operate machinery that is specific to their industry.
Machine Operator Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates a wide variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.
Machine Operator Job Details:
- Accurately follow and interpret instructions and drawings. Complete production and test documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Set-up, operate and maintain equipment used in the production of the company's product in order to carry out the manufacturing processes in a number of designated areas with a high level of accuracy and quality with minimal supervision.
- Meet production routing times on jobs for which training has been received.
- Assist in the job training of lesser skilled operators.
- Should be able to lift up to 50lbs

Job Requirements
- At least 1 years of experience in a similar machine operator position in a manufacturing company
- High school or equivalent
- Ability to operate equipment, read and interpret blueprint, layout, and process worksheets, set-up and operate assigned machines and equipment, and effectively communicate with others.
- Understands the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
- Able to maintain consistent and acceptable level of quality.
- Union environment
- Lift 50 lbs.
