Local Driver – CDL Class B Required (Class A Preferred)
Location: Broadview, Illinois
Department: Purchasing
Schedule: 1st Shift Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays (rotating)
No overnights – all local routes within a 150-mile radius
Pay: $20-25 DOE + Ask about our driver bonus!
Are you a reliable, licensed driver with a CDL-B (or better) and a solid work ethic? This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for a dependable local driver who can safely transport metal stampings and materials between our facility, vendors, and customers.
Drive company trucks to deliver and pick up metal parts and goods.
Check vehicles daily for safety, maintenance, and emergency readiness.
Load/unload materials; verify documentation (packing slips, certifications, signatures).
Coordinate with the team for proper material handling and positioning.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, counts, and related data in our ERP system (Plex).
Secure loads properly using chains, blocks, or covers as needed.
Report vehicle issues, traffic violations, or delivery concerns promptly.
CDL Class B license (required)
CDL Class A license (preferred)
Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience in a manufacturing environment.
Forklift certification (or ability to get certified quickly).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills.
Clean driving record + valid license + proof of insurance.
Able to lift 50 lbs, stand/bend for long periods, and handle a fast-paced, multitask-heavy environment.
