Our client in Roselle, IL is looking for an experienced 1st Shift Shipping Material Handler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse/distribution experience, forklift expertise, proficiency with RF scanners and inventory paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Movement: Pick up and distribute materials (5-50 lbs. regularly; up to 70 lbs. occasionally) to designated production machines.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate ad Crown Stand-Up Forklift equipped with a scale.
Order Fulfillment: Pick orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and computers.
Documentation & Tagging: Process receiving documents, fill out accurate weight tags, and maintain organized paperwork for turn-in.
Administrative: Utilize company time and attendance systems daily.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or distribution center environments.
Equipment: Proven experience operating a Crown Stand-Up Forklift.
Tech Skills: Comfortable using computers and RF scanners.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 5-50 lbs. consistently, with occasional heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.
Preferred: Experience with UPS and FedEx online shipping software is a major plus!
