Our client, an established Plastic Thermoforming company in Batavia, IL is hiring a CNC Programmer / Machinist.

1st Shift with a 7am start time and potential Overtime
Pay is $28.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience
CNC Programmer / Machinist Job Description:
- Create programs that cut raw materials mostly aluminum and some light steel into functional parts (Vertical machining center.)
- Write programs using CAM software to create parts or molds on a three-axis vertical CNC center.
- Edit programs to produce parts to the quality specifications outlined on blueprints, drawings, or CAD files.
- Set up CNC machines using jigs, fixtures, vises, and clamps.
- Run and monitor multiple machines at one time, making adjustments as necessary.
- Select appropriate cutters, feeds, and speeds for such cutters to produce the correct product and finish.
- Conduct light maintenance and cleaning on machines.
