Our client, a metal parts manufacturing facility located in Downers Grove, Illinois is adding to their night shifts.
If you have basic experience with CNC machine operation in a fast-paced manufacturing company, this is a great opportunity to learn and grow.
3rd Shift available!
Pay range is $20.00 -$25.00 per hour.
Direct hire, so no temp or temp to hire period. If you have the skills and experience, you will be hired directly by the client company.
In this job you will use your basic CNC machine operation skills to:
- Read blueprints
- Load materials into the mill or lathe
- Press the button to operate the machine.
- Check quality of the parts you are making to determine if they are in spec.
- Keep the machine running and producing parts that are in spec
- Add fluids and coolants to the machine as required.
- Learn about GD&T and other info on the blueprint
- Learn how to make adjustments and offsets
- Learn to change basic tools on the CNC machinery including inserts, drills, endmills, etc.
- Lifting up to 20lbs.
- Keep your work area clean.
