The Business Development Specialist will qualify clients and ensure resource alignment for success in driving new opportunities that fit the company strategic focus and capabilities. The main goal is to uncover new business opportunities and grow revenue.
Qualified candidate will have strong experience in Sales with technical aptitude related to electronic manufacturing. This should be combined with solid ' 3 dimensional' analytical thinking skills and the ability to process technical information to learn product capabilities. This knowledge and analytical ability will be the foundation to become a trusted advisor to customers, resulting in delivery on sales objectives--Annual and long-term.
Position will be based out of Detroit, Michigan area for optimal access to Automotive Industry and Contract Manufacturers. Candidate can expect 50% or more travel.
Base of $85, 000 to $95, 000 with 15% to 20% annual bonus.
MBA strongly preferred.
