Barton Staffing is currently looking for a Accounts Receivables clerk for our client located in Des Plaines.
Temp to Hire Position
Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay Rate up to $28/hr depending on experience.
Position Details:
Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of solid AP experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Start Time: 7:30 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. (flexible between the two)
Pay Rate: up to $25 per hour (based on experience)
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing high-volume vendor invoices and matching them to purchase orders
Reviewing and reconciling invoice discrepancies
Preparing and processing check runs and ACH payments
Assisting with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
Communicating with vendors to resolve payment or billing issues
Maintaining organized and accurate AP files and records
Ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls
Ideal candidate must be computer literate
Must have experience with accounting using SAP or ERP systems

Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounts receivable and general accounting experience required.
Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payables/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and general accounting procedures.
Must have previous experience in processing invoices (incoming & verifying PO’s or receiving tickets), posting to vendor accounts and processing cleared checks. Unpublish
Good analytical skills, self-starting, resourceful and organized.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and time management skills.
