Our client, an industry leader in precision metal stamping and assembly with manufacturing locations in the US and Mexico, is seeking a Staff Accountant with Epicor experience for its Arlington Heights, IL facility. We are looking for someone with a natural ability with software, to jump in and help out with our transition to Epicor. Salary Range - $ 60,000 - $75,000 per year
Staff Accountant with Epicor experience Job Description:
- Prepare and record certain journal entries in the appropriate systems.
- Assist in the transition to Epicor.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules.
- Perform bank accounts reconciliation.
- Maintain fixed asset accounts and record into F/A system.
- Update metrics schedules, and various analyses such as Gross Profit by Customer
- Prepare various schedules for monthly management review and quarterly financial review.
- Prepare various cost analyses, reviewing costing and margins.
- Assist Controller on special projects, i.e. budgets and sales analysis.
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
- Assist Controller on special projects.
- Will be communicating by phone and e mail to plants in Mexico, so bilingual Spanish/English is very strongly preferred.
