The qualified candidates will be training and mentoring a team of seven maintenance mechanics and apprentices. They should have the following skills and capabilities: Excellent communication skills in English Ability and willingness to train and mentor others--teach it to them, don`t do it for them Computer skills to be able to work in the homegrown maintenance database program and e-mail Excellent work ethic and organizational skills Strong knowledge of Electrical Maintenance A strong knowledge of PLCs o Ability to reach ladder logic o Ability to read PLC and electrical diagrams o Do not have to be able to program PLCs Good knowledge of Automation/Robotics Have some knowledge of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) but don`t have to be a wizard at it, just have knowledge Should have their own basic hand tools SQF or experience in a food-manufacturing environment would be a HUGE plus, but not a deal-breaker Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Pay range based on experience in the $30 to $32/hr.
