Entry Level Bilingual Japanese/English Electrical Engineer SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Barton Professional Placement Group is recruiting for an entry level electrical engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience. All candidates MUST BE BILINGUAL JAPANESE/ENGLISH. The succesful candidate speaking and writing both English and Japanese will apply their electrical engineering education, training and experience to troubleshoot, repair, modify and design PLC based electrical control systems and motion control systems in a tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment. They will Monitor, modify and write PLC programs. Troubleshoot, and modify CNC machines. Plan layout and wire electrical control panel and install on industrial machinery. Successful candidates should have a good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and machines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Troubleshoot automated production machineries, identify root cause for trouble and repair as necessary Diagnose and replace faulty electrical and electronic components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, positions sensing devices, and printed circuit boards. Connect electric power to machines and equipment, and control wires between machines and equipment. Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. Work collaboratively with others, including mechanics and lead persons to diagnose faulty machinery. Able to design a control system using PLC, motion control, and MMI (Man Machine Interfaces) i.E. Panel layout, wiring and testing. Able to read and make electrical schematic drawings. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor`s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Bilingual speak and write JAPANESE and ENGLISH Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING SKILLS and ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software.
